Hi! I'm Zaidat and I am the owner of ZAJA Natural & The Beer Soap Company. I started my company on a whim after I had my first child as a college senior. It started as a hobby to learn a new craft and grew into a passion. I am happy to say that I am still here 15 years later!
I come from a business-minded background. My mother is a fashion designer and perfumer and has owned a fashion store for as far back as I can remember. Every day she would take me to her store, where I learned so many things. Of course, back then I saw it as a form of punishment because what kid wants to spend time tending a storefront, mixing oils, and doing basic accounting? But the knowledge that she taught me was priceless. One of my favorite lessons from her was scent blending. I can truly attest to being the best-smelling kid in every class!
I try to incorporate much of what I learned into this company. With fine attention to detail, colors, recipe formulation, I can assure you that your skin is in good hands.
I promise to bring you my best. My soaps are made in small batches to ensure quality control and goodness. Making soap is truly an art form and I hope you enjoy mine.
I am proud to say that my products have been featured on many blogs, news articles, and magazines. Some of the features include Imbibe Magazine (May 2009 issue,) Urban Daddy, Thrillist, Everyday with Rachael Ray, European Car Magazine, Trend Hunter, Entertainment Tonight, and Wine Enthusiast... to name a few. The Beer Soap Company was also featured in Etsy's "Quit Your Day Job" series in 2009.
Please take a look around and see if there is anything that you like. I am here to help if you have any questions.
I am also available on Etsy and Amazon, but you will see pricing differences. That is because I take into account the commissions that these sites charge to be on their platform. For the best possible pricing, my website is the best place to place your order. My site is 100% secure and I do not keep any payment information stored.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via the Contact tab or send me a live chat message if that option is available!
